§ 6-31. Adopted.

There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing standards and procedures affecting the design, erection and construction of fire hydrants the AWWA Standard for Dry-Barrel Fire Hydrants, C 502, and 1973 Edition, and the foreword thereunto, as promulgated by the American Water Works Association, Inc., of which sketches labeled "A" and "B" are attached thereto, and of which not less than one (1) copy has been and is on file in the office of the city clerk, and save and except such portions as are hereinafter stricken or modified, is adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein.
