§ 1-101. Incorporation; name.

The City of Union City, Georgia, and the inhabitants thereof, shall continue to be a body politic and corporate under the name of the City of Union City (hereinafter at times referred to as the "city"). The city shall be the legal continuation and successor to the city as heretofore incorporated; shall continue to be vested with all of the property and rights of property which now belong to the city; and shall have perpetual succession.
